Lifter Inspections: We use our hydraulic lifter when a mooring must be lifted above the surface for inspection. This is usually done when there is a question about size, type or condition. This is required for the initial inspection, and every other inpection thereafter. Inspections must be done at least once every three years. Documentation of it's condition is made using photos and a town certificate.
Diver Inspections: Documentation is done the same way except the mooring is not lifted. The chain is pulled tight with the lifter and all the chain and shackles are inspected. The mooring eye is checked and if not accessible it is jetted down to a point that allows the diver to grade it.
Our Divers: We have two divers certified by the Dartmouth Harbor Master to preform mooring inspections. From inspections to locating lost moorings, we are experienced and professional.
Inspection Rates: $135.00 inspection fee plus materials. All inspections include town documentation and a written report of the moorings condition.
Our labor rate is $60.00/hr for other work.
